SignboxApp is an app with a cryptographic mechanism that allows the receiver of a digitally signed message to determine the originating entity of said message (authentication of origin and non-repudiation), and confirm that the message has not been altered since it was signed by the originator.
The digital signature is applied in those areas where it is important to verify the authenticity and integrity of certain data, for example electronic documents or software, as it provides a tool to detect counterfeiting and manipulation of the content.
